Welcome!

Before you make yourself comfortable, let me tell you a little about this place.

This is our private home.
We live here ourselves, and we open our home only to Camino pilgrims.
We are not open to the general public.

We invite Camino pilgrims into our home for a short while,
to rest, reflect, connect, and feel at home for a little while.

That is why we created the Inner Camino House.

It is a private initiative.
It is not a business, a café, a hostel, or a public place.

So today... this is your home for a moment.

Donation based

Everything here is based on donations. 
There are no fixed prices, and nothing here is sold.

We ask every pilgrim who spends some time with us to help us continue by leaving a donation.

Your donation helps us refill the things we share with pilgrims every day.

Please leave a donation, so we can keep doing this for your fellow pilgrims who come after you.

Near the eggs, you will find our donation box and our Camino stamp.

Please make yourself comfortable

You are welcome to sit in our living room, at the table, on the covered terrace, or in the garden.

Sit wherever you feel comfortable.

Outside you will also find foot baths if you would like to give your feet a little rest.

Toilet

If you are looking for the toilet, you will find it at the end of the living room, through the little hallway.

Music

And if you play the guitar or the piano, please feel free to play.

Our kitchen

While you are here as our guest, you are welcome to use what we keep available in our kitchen.

You can make yourself something to eat, make a coffee, or squeeze some fresh orange juice.

Just as you would at home, you prepare everything yourself.

When you are finished, we kindly ask you to wash what you have used and leave it on the drying rack.

Fresh orange juice

If you would like to make fresh orange juice, just cut an orange in half and place it in the juicer.

Please use only light pressure. Do not force it.

The machine does the work for you, and using too much force may damage it.

The coffee machine

For the coffee machine, swipe through the display and choose the coffee you would like.

When you have found the one you want, press the picture of the coffee, not the little plus button underneath.

If you press the picture, the machine will prepare it automatically.

Please do not clean the coffee machine

If you have made a drink with milk, the machine may ask you to turn the dial on the milk container.

Please do not do that. Just press “Cancel.”

I take care of cleaning the milk container myself, so there is nothing you need to do.
